Schedule Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Location Location: 791 Summit Ave, Oconomowoc, WI 53066; 725 American Ave, Waukesha, WI 53188 Primary Responsibilities Greets visitors and patients in person Handles confidential information appropriately by protecting and disclosing information to only those authorized Prioritizes by assessing and analyzing information to identify immediate emergency needs Demonstrates technical knowledge and competence in the departmental procedures and maintains current physician on-call schedules to ensure appropriate communication to ProHealth Care Physicians Enters and updates patient demographic and financial information, ensuring the patient is fully registered as early in the process as possible Obtains appropriate applications and forms, confirming signatures are on file. Photocopies / scans documents as needed Provides patients with financial responsibility information and collects patient liabilities, documents amounts in the appropriate fields, and balances the cash box daily Works with partnering departments (Financial Counseling, Scheduling, Financial Clearance, and clinical areas) to ensure all aspects of the patient's encounter are completed as needed Provides wayfinding instructions and assists with hospital information as requested Meets or exceeds audit accuracy standards. Works with worklists and error reports timely, and proactively seeks assistance to resolve as needed Performs complex patient scheduling May perform other duties upon request Compensation & Benefits Pay information: hourly pay ranges from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment Paid Time Off starting with the first pay period plus 8 paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance along with disability coverage 401(k) Savings Plan and Employee Stock Purchase Plan Education reimbursement Employee discounts and Employee Assistance Program Voluntary benefits (pet insurance, legal insurance, LTC insurance, etc.) Required Qualifications High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 1+ years of customer service experience in an office setting or professional work environment 1+ years of scheduling experience Beginner level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products Ability to work the following biweekly schedule within the overnight 11:00pm - 7:00am Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday Week 2: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Ability to travel between 791 Summit Ave, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 & 725 American Ave, Waukesha, WI 53188 (1-2 times per week) Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications Experience in a medical office or hospital admitting/registration office Experience with electronic medical records system Scheduling experience Knowledge of medical terminology Soft Skills Excellent customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in fast paced environments PLEASE NOTE The sign-on bonus is only available to external candidates. Internal candidates are not eligible to receive a sign on bonus. Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, stock purchase and 401k contribution. The hourly pay range for this role is $16.15 to $28.80 based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
