TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Hospice RN in South Portland, Maine, 04106!

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Hospice Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours (8 AM - 5 PM) Experience: Recent experience providing Hospice care in a home setting required. License: RN Licensed for State of Maine Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Driver's license and must use own vehicle to drive from patient home to patient home. Description: Urgent start needed. Full-time position with a weekend rotation. Will work in both assigned territories. Requires experience with hospice services and a strong nursing skill set. Case manager averages 25 to 30 patients. Common diagnoses include orthopedic surgeries, wound care, chronic/acute CHF and COPD, and central line care. Overnight call requirement typically once every 3 to 4 weeks. Weekend rotation will generally be once a month, but may vary based on staffing. Holidays will be required if the assignment aligns with major holidays. Business casual or scrubs are acceptable attire. Traveler may be asked to support other agency locations if census allows.
