Step into a dynamic part-time contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, leveraging your expertise in both traditional and innovative practice settings. Located near Howland, ME, this role focuses on supporting students through a blend of in-school, home health, teletherapy, and healthcare-based occupational therapy services. Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Maine (ME OT License required)
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, teletherapy, or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
- Compassion, patience, and commitment to student-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services 2-3 days per week (approximately 20 hours)
- Serve a caseload of about 50 students, offering direct intervention, assessment, and consultative support
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Conduct sessions both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as needed
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
