Production Supervisor

Provide leadership to the Production Department and ensure day-to-day execution of production activities Ensure consistent operation of equipment and processes and delivery of products meeting customer objectives and expectations Directly supervise the designated shift and act as a technical resource Rotate between shifts as needed Ensure Associates are trained for their roles Direct and complete Associate performance reviews Oversee safety, on-time delivery, quality, efficiency, continuous improvement, and product timeliness Verify daily labor times Participate in cross-functional teams as a production representative to reduce variance Participate in, promote, and actively use Lean Manufacturing principles Initiate actions to maintain a safe and clean work environment Assist with work-related accident reports and investigations Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures and regulations Schedule the department to meet production and shipment schedules Participate in and engage in continuous improvement projects across the organization Travel to other HEXPOL locations or customers as required Perform other projects or tasks assigned by Management Requirements Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education Five (5) years' production/manufacturing experience preferred Three (3) years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Excellent computer/systems skills - MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook) Excellent cooperation and collaboration skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated and self-reliant Ability to supervise, coach and develop Associates Ability to interact well with all personality types in a supervisory role Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Ability to handle personal and confidential information Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership in production management, ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement while effectively supervising and developing team members.
