Required Skills & Experience - Undergraduate degree or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Alabama State P&C Insurance License or willingness to pursue it immediately
Strong interest in sales with a "hunter" sales mentality
Ability to connect with a diverse group of people; a proven track record as an influential member of a sports team, Greek organization, or other organization is a plus
Ability to travel occasionally, mostly within state of Alabama
Nice to Have Skills & Experience - Recently graduated with a bachelor's or advanced business degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; concentration or minor in sales or risk management is also a plus
Previous sales experience
Experience working with C-Level executives
Public speaking experience
Some insurance knowledge

Drive new business generation and manage the client relationship life cycle from lead generation through proposal, and from closing to post-sales servicing
Identify and qualify prospects to create a robust pipeline of accounts
Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities among existing clients
Develop deep relationships and participate in leadership roles within targeted industry/niche associations and community organizations
Collaborate with inside and outside partners to create compelling risk management programs that win new business
Work closely with our President to set and achieve sales goals
Input and track sales activities in sales management systems
