Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Custodian to join our team at an industrial facility in Brookville OH. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe work environment and is comfortable working around industrial equipment and spaces.
Responsibilities:
Sweep mop vacuum and clean floors in shop and office areas
Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
Clean and sanitize restrooms break rooms and common areas
Maintain cleanliness of entrances hallways and loading dock areas
Restock supplies (paper towels soap etc.)
Follow safety protocols while using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
Report any maintenance or safety issues to management
Perform other cleaning duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred especially in industrial settings
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
Must pass a background check and drug screening
