Kaiser Permanente - Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a part-time Hospitalist (.60 FTE in total) to join our team based at Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, Washington. Overlake Medical Center is a nonprofit regional medical center offering a full range of advanced medical services to the Puget Sound region. It is the first Level III Trauma Center on the Eastside, and is known for providing award-winning, compassionate and patient-centered care. Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) providers take care of most of the patients admitted. Exceptions include: some ICU (GH intensivists rotate with community intensivists and they share all patients), interventional radiology, GI (for ERCP only), neurosurgery emergencies (not stable for transfer to VMMC).

The entire salary range for this position is $311,939 to $366,987 and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $311,939 to $348,638 based on factors such as education, training or experience. Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, and disability insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, receive employer contributions to the 401(k) plan, and enroll in our cash balance pension plan. Employees will also receive four weeks of paid vacation leave every year and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and will receive continuing medical education leave and funding (pro-rated based on FTE).

Qualifications

Medical Degree MD/DO or better.

Experience

BE/BC Internal Medicine or BE/BC Family Medicine + Completion of one of the following Hospital Fellowship or Hospitalist track during Family Medicine residency + minimum of 3 consecutive years Hospitalist experience or 5 years Hospitalist experience in the last 10 years Minimally 3+ years experience as a Hospitalist. All applicants must have an unrestricted Washington State Medical License and Federally Issued DEA license. All applicants must possess a full range of clinical skills and an interest in working with an innovative group practice.
