About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at Mount Joseph at Waterville, a leading healthcare provider in Waterville, Maine. As an OT, you will play a vital role in helping our patients regain their physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, promoting independence, and improving overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective therapeutic strategies
• Provide occupational therapy interventions, including adaptive equipment training, cognitive rehabilitation, and sensory integration techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and evidence-based research to continuously improve patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Maine
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
