About the Role

This is more than a traditional payer contracting position.

As the Payer Contracting & Provider Relations Manager , you’ll own strategic payer relationships from contract negotiation through implementation. You’ll work closely with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Credentialing, and Operations to negotiate contracts, analyze reimbursement performance, improve payer relationships, and identify opportunities to strengthen market access and financial performance.

What You’ll Do

·       Manage assigned payer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact.

·       Lead contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, and renegotiations.

·       Analyze reimbursement, utilization, fee schedules, and financial performance.

·       Develop strategies to improve payer relationships and site-of-care initiatives.

·       Evaluate the financial impact of contract changes and payer policy updates.

·       Partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Credentialing, and Operations teams.

·       Prepare reports, recommendations, and contract analysis for leadership.

·       Support contract implementation and process improvements.

What You’ll Bring

·       5+ years of experience in payer contracting, provider relations, healthcare contracting, healthcare operations, or medical practice management.

·       2+ years managing payer or strategic partner relationships.

·       Experience negotiating healthcare contracts and reimbursement terms.

·       Advanced Excel skills with experience analyzing financial, utilization, or reimbursement data.

·       Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
