Job Description St. Peter’s Hospital is currently seeking additional per diem Hospitalists to join our dynamic team at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, collegial hospital medicine program within a physician friendly environment supported by strong system resources. Position Details: Provide comprehensive medical care to diverse population of critically ill adult patients, including admissions, rounding and discharge planning Manage an average census of 15 patients per provider with a staffing model of 20 providers Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Respond to rapids and codes Conducts a history and physical examination, and note dictated in our EPIC EMR system 12 shifts per year required Opportunity Highlights: Location: St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany, NY and / or Samaritan Hospital, Troy, NY Closed ICU model with 24/7 in house Intensivist coverage in 400 Bed Community Hospital Strong collaboration with the hospitalist team, APP’s and ED, and specialty teams Supportive practice environment focused on quality and provider wellness Large employed group of physicians offering in-house subspecialist support Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Eligible for New York State medical licensure New grads encouraged to apply DEA eligibility required Team oriented approach with a commitment to high quality patient care This opportunity is not accepting J1 or H1B visa candidates Recruitment Package: Day Shifts $175/hour Night shifts $190/hour
