Cook – Prepare Meals That Bring Residents Together Role involves preparing high‑quality meals that support residents’ health and enjoyment while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements Record production quantities and food safety temperatures Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines Support dishwashing and dining service as needed Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator Pay Range $18.50 – $23.25 Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Plans Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistant Program / Discount Program Paid time off (PTO), sick time, and holiday pay myFlexPay offered to get paid within hours of a shift Tuition Reimbursement Additional Compensation Discretionary and/or non‑discretionary bonuses may apply based on position, plan/program, and performance.
