Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified cardiac scrub nurse with at least 2 years of recent cardiac experience. Candidate must be adaptable to work in the main OR when not handling cardiac cases and be available for cardiac call on weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize sterile equipment and supplies for cardiac procedures.
• Assist in cardiac surgeries, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including ortho and neuro specialists, to support various operative procedures.
• Provide on-call coverage for cardiac cases, including weekend and weekday evening/nights.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, supplies, and patient care activities.
• Comply with all safety, infection control, and clinical standards throughout assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid BLS and ACLS certification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent cardiac scrub experience.
• Demonstrate strong OR skills in ortho/neuro surgeries.
• Have Epic EMR experience.
• Be willing to work day shifts, with rotating on-call responsibilities.
• Be outside a 60+ mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted.
