Job Title

Responsibilities include support to the Performance/Data Analytics and Reporting team in the development of business/functional/technical design documents, generating, tracking, analyzing reporting deliverables, development, and reconciliation of reporting files. Responsible for assisting with reporting and information management (IM) Service Requests (SR) and BRR (system enhancements) prioritization and completion. Such duties include review of SRs to determine ability for the State to complete internally, review of IM BRRs and provide recommendation for approval by Agency Lead for release prioritization. Responsible for attending theme management meetings when appropriate (e.g. LTSS meetings regarding Sherlock Report).

Required Skills:

Familiarity with principles and practices associated with Database Maintenance and Administration
Experience with various Database languages, statements, and commands (e.g. DCL, DDL, DML)
Demonstrated understanding of both System and Data integration, compatibility, and interoperability
Working knowledge of ETL practices (Extract, Transform, and Load)
Deep understanding of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), and Agile Software Development
Ability to evaluate changes and updates to source production system, and the cascading effects on performance and quality control within reporting environment
Proficient in data modelling and data visualization tools
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Strong business process modeling and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with SQL and Tableau
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, or Computer Science
4 – 6 years of relevant experience
