What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism in a controlled environment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings grounds access points and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and/or permissions and report unusual behavior hazards and/or security-related concerns according to site protocol.
• Support emergency situations by communicating with site personnel public agencies and/or supervisors and documenting incidents in clear timely reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
