Project Manager 2 - Construction

Role Overview Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking a Project Manager 2 - Construction to support a large, national energy account in El Segundo, California. This position will exclusively support projects and project managers in our national portfolio of work for a single client. What You'll Do Develop project schedules and execute according to plan for assigned projects. Evaluate the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes. Actively pursue additional work through change orders. Perform associated cost estimates, prepare proposals, and negotiate final settlement price and customer acceptance. Effectively communicate project progress, issues, and financial status to management as required. Develop and maintain viable long‑term relationships with consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors. Attend and lead job progress meetings as required. What You Bring A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of Construction/Project Management experience within new construction, renovations, MEP infrastructure, and working in critical environments preferred. Strong personal computer working capabilities in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment) as well as MS Project, Procore and Bluebeam preferred. OSHA 30 (or the ability to gain certification within 120 days of hire). Ability to embrace ambiguity and work effectively in environments with undefined processes. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Minimum Management Experience - 5 years.
