Machine Maintenance Technician

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Location: Salem, OR

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a skilled Maintenance Technician for a well-established manufacturing facility specializing in custom metal fabrication and structural production. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with competitive pay based on experience.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Diagnose equipment issues and minimize downtime
Maintain fabrication and processing equipment
Complete maintenance logs and documentation accurately
Assist with facility maintenance and safety compliance
Collaborate with production teams to address maintenance needs promptly

Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience working with hand and power tools
Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and ability to work early morning shift
