Per Diem Family Nurse Practitioner (Casual Employee)

About One Medical One Medical is a primary care solution focused on improving the experience for patients, providers, employers, and health networks through seamless in‑office and 24/7 virtual care services, on‑site labs, and preventive care programs. Employment Type Per diem, hourly clinician role. Casual employment. 8–23 patient care hours per week. Key Responsibilities See patients with a broad array of needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits. Provide care in‑office and conduct occasional telehealth visits. Collaborate with in‑office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams. Utilize clinical training to perform in‑office procedures. Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states. Desired Qualities Passion for human‑centered primary care. Effective communication with individuals of all backgrounds. Proficiency in evidence‑based primary care technology. Team orientation and openness to feedback. Confidence in navigating uncertain situations with patients and colleagues. Readiness to adapt behavior to meet patient needs. Education, Licenses, Experience Completed an accredited NP program with national certification. NP or 104 NP in California, able to practice autonomously without physician supervision. At least 2 years as an Advanced Practitioner in an outpatient primary care setting, or 1 year in primary care plus 1 year in urgent care or fellowship. State licensed in CA, obtained by One Medical start date. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $96.00 (final determination may vary). Malpractice insurance covered fully. UpToDate subscription. One Medical issued laptop. Sick time and PTO eligible per CA and local requirements.
