Job Description At Regions, the Relationship Banker II is responsible for meeting with customers and prospects in person and by phone to determine financial needs and offer appropriate products, services, and guidance to help achieve financial goals. This role suits candidates with retail or sales experience who are seeking opportunities for growth and upward mobility. Regions’ mission is to make life better for customers and communities. Primary Responsibilities Achieve branch targets by identifying customer needs and guiding Regions’ solutions Conduct outbound calls using lead lists to expand relationships and acquire new customers Educate customers on Regions’ consumer and business products and services, including loans and deposits Educate customers on digital banking solutions (mobile, online, ATM) to simplify banking Provide a consistent customer experience, including greeting customers and processing transactions as needed Own and resolve customer issues Refer customers to internal experts when complex financial goals are identified Follow bank processes and regulations, and assist with risk identification and reporting This position requires tracking time for hours over 40 per week and is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position is incentive eligible. Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required. Refer to the NMLS information for details. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Ability to work Saturdays as needed Ability to handle cash and cash transactions Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 20 pounds Preferences Bachelor’s degree Life Insurance License One year of cash-handling, banking, and/or customer service experience Skills and Competencies Adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings Ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to oversee large sums of cash Excellent relationship-building skills Strong communication and customer focus Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are provided as a reference and vary by factors such as experience, skills, location, and performance.
