About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - PACU, ICU, or Cath Lab experience - Critical care experience in PACU/ICU required - Travel experience preferred Description: Located in a community hospital. This facility has 171 beds and is a regional referral center. It is a Joint Commission Accredited and Certified Chest Pain Center. The facility also has a Level 3 Trauma designation. Outdoor recreation is abundant, with opportunities for fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking. There are various local restaurants, breweries, and distilleries to enjoy. The area boasts beautiful mountain ranges and serene lake scenery. It is conveniently located near major cities. Call requirements include approximately 5-6 days per month, with 1 weekend day and 1 Friday. Staff choose call shifts based on a rotation. The unit has 12 beds with patient ratios of 2:1 or 4:1, depending on care area. The equipment includes electronic health records (EHR) systems. The patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics. The ideal candidate should be a good fit for a dynamic nursing team.
