Plant Accountant

Job Title: Senior Plant Accountant Location: Buckeye, AZ This is a Direct Hire opportunity with the client. This position is ONSITE and requires experience in Inventory Management. Salary Range $75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Job Responsibilities: Apply principles of GAAP to analyze financial information, prepare accurate reports, and maintain accounting controls. Prepare monthly and quarterly analyses according to the financial closing calendar. Handle account analysis, forecasting, and ensure accuracy of standard costs, month-end closing, and plant financial forecasts. Input journal entries and review financial books and ledgers. Collaborate with plant management to meet financial goals and explain plant performance, including variances. Manage CAPEX budgets, asset disposal, and cycle counts. Report variances and assist in corrective actions. Support internal controls and document accounting procedures. Perform other duties as assigned and ensure reliable attendance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred. At least 5 years of general ledger accounting experience in manufacturing. Knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and financial systems such as Microsoft D365 (SAP ERP) and MS Office. Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
