Business Process Analyst

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS MANDATORY

Minimum 5 7 years of Business Analyst experience; professional experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or related field

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS NICE TO HAVE

Master's degree in MBA or MHA preferred; Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, business analysis, or related professional training/certification preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE NICE TO HAVE

Experience in state government, healthcare, finance, regulatory, public health, or similar service-related environments; strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, enterprise-level improvement; executive reports/dashboards, process maps, SOPs, and implementation documentation

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct business process analysis through stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, and data analysis; develop current-state and future-state process maps and workflows; apply Lean Six Sigma/quality improvement methodologies to identify gaps, bottlenecks, redundancies, and root causes; develop data-informed process improvement recommendations; create and revise SOPs, business requirements, reports, executive summaries, and process documentation; facilitate process improvement sessions; develop process measures and performance indicators; support implementation, change management, and sustainment; maintain project deliverables, risks, issues, and recommendations; provide progress updates and complete deliverables within established timelines.
