Outpatient Oncology Infusion Nurse

Role Purpose Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and caregivers, ensuring effective communication across care continuum. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Adheres to safety protocols, maintaining alertness and safe work practices at all times. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license. Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years experience preferred.
