Digital DesignerReporting to the Digital Design Manager, the Digital Designer is responsible for concept development, visual exploration and final execution of design directions for PacSun.com. The Digital Designer must be able to work successfully within a team setting that includes collaboration with other members in Marketing, Ecommerce, CRM, and Merchandising to ensure on-brand and technically sound visual design solutions.A day in the life, what you'll be doing:DevelopmentConcept creation, design and execution of overall visual language for pacsun.com – including website updates, emails, mobile app updates, banners and other paid online mediaDesign compelling promotional messaging with understanding hierarchy is typography and graphicsStrong digital animation skillsetDesign for the digital space with understanding of the unique challenges of digital and mobile platformsCollaborate with cross-functional to meet marketing objectives and adhere to timelinesStrong foundational design skills and ability to emulate brand and design standardsConsistently consult with Manager for guidance and validationSolicits and assimilates design feedback; independently execute revisions with a high level of accuracyResearch and stay current with digital design trendsDemonstrate an eagerness to learn, be a team player, share information and provide a fresh perspectiveDeliveryUnderstanding of web designResponsible for adhering to style guide, creative direction and asset delivery requirements for webCollaborates with Development Team to ensure correct implementation of approved design directionWhat it takes to join:Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related fieldFormal training in graphic design, typography, digital design and/or visual communications5+ year experience in Digital Ecomm Design and Production, in-house/digital experience preferredHighly conceptual and ability to interpret and adapt existing brands to the interactive spaceMust be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite + Figma.Working knowledge of the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignStrong communication and listening skills and the ability to translate feedback visuallyDetail oriented, highly organized and a keen eye for consistencyMust be team-oriented, dedicated, inquisitive, and collaborativeAbility to work independentlySalary Range: ($75,920 - $82,512)Pac Perks:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefitsCompetitive short-term incentive programImmediate 100% vested 401K contributions and employer matchDog friendly office environment$1,000 referral incentive programGenerous associate discount of 30 - 50% off merchandise online and in-storesOn-site CafeOn-site Gym with Fitness ClassesAmple parkingWeekly Car Wash Service and more!Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume.
