As a Personal Training Leadership Manager at E S, you will hold a vital role in select high-volume gyms, where you will be instrumental in coaching and expanding our personal training team. Reporting to the Fitness Manager, you will collaborate closely with our Senior Director of PT Experience to ensure that our trainers deliver exceptional service and cultivate strong relationships with our members. This position is about fostering growth and excellence: you’ll mentor trainers, facilitate their development, and establish a positive atmosphere that enhances client satisfaction, retention, and overall results. Your objective will be to keep your team focused on creating outstanding experiences, enhancing performance, and advancing professionally—all while ensuring seamless operations in our gyms. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and management of the personal training team. Act as a key business partner to the Fitness Manager in managing the personal training segment. Inspire your team to achieve or surpass all personal training targets each month. Lead the delivery of high-value personal training orientation sessions aimed at maximizing client acquisition and improving overall personal training engagement. Identify and implement strategies for growth and enhancement of the personal training department. Enhance the personal training experience at E S to boost revenue and client retention. Manage the entire trainer lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and performance reviews. Conduct ongoing coaching and development for trainers through regular individual and team meetings. Minimize trainer turnover and bolster personal trainer tenure through continuous coaching and support. Qualifications: Minimum of one year as a personal trainer at E S (internal candidates) or at least one year of relevant management experience (external candidates). Achieve Level 2 or Master Coach status as an E S personal trainer. Passionate about team development through education and coaching. Accountable for meeting performance goals and company KPIs, while fostering accountability in others. Exceptional communication skills and a high level of emotional intelligence. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in achieving deadlines. Requirements: Must successfully pass a background check. Valid Personal Training Certification required. CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Capability to work in a gym setting, moving around club floors and rooms, and engaging with employees, members, and the public. Ability to routinely bend and lift more than 40 lbs. Proficient in using company computer systems for document preparation, data entry, and communication. Compensation Plan: Competitive base salary with bonus potential. Opportunity to conduct up to 5 paid client training sessions per week.
