TIG Welder

Job Duties

• Perform TIG welding with precision and expertise, particularly on stainless steel fabrication.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accuracy in welding.

• Conduct high-quality welds while adhering to company standards.

• Use MIG welding as needed for specific tasks.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Demonstrate a positive attitude with self-initiative and the ability to work independently.

• Take direction from your lead with an open mind, offering suggestions for improvement where necessary.

• Work with minimal direction, leveraging your experience and personal insight to achieve project goals.

• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain safety standards throughout the work process.

• Perform quality control checks to ensure that welds meet required specifications and standards.

Minimum Education Required

High School Diploma

Minimum Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in TIG and MIG welding.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

• Must be able to pass a welding test as part of the hiring process.

• Strong computer skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to operate a forklift and use overhead cranes when needed.
