Lab Chemist

Safety-Kleen located in Fallon, NV is currently seeking a Lab Chemist - Swing Shift. The lab technician is responsible for the routine analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties. Pay Rate: $26-30hr DOE. Schedule: Two shifts available. Responsibilities Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times. Performs basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures. Utilizes basic instrumentation. Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion. Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines. Performs cleaning and general housekeeping of work area. What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen? High School Diploma or GED Required. BS in Chemistry or related science preferred. 3+ years of previous lab technician experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Experience with utilizing computer software preferred.
