Retail Scan Associate

Overview ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve product sales performance for the retailer. Schedule Base hours average from 3 1/2 – 5 1/2 hours per week, varying by store size and workload. Additional hours (typically 1–2 per store per week) may be assigned for special projects, especially during January‑June. Operations run 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Provide product quantity data for approximately 45% of scanned items. Complete display scanning across the entire store each week. Engage in custom projects for detailed product information as requested by clients. Meet weekly deadlines to ensure timely data delivery. Maintain high standards of accuracy and independence in all tasks. Qualifications At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and access products throughout the store. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and perform repetitive motions with hands and arms. Attention to detail and capability to work independently. Deadline‑driven self‑starter with strong time‑management skills. Reliable Wi‑Fi access and tech savvy.
