About the Position

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity, fast-paced unit. The role involves caring for critically ill patients across Neuro, CTICU, Trauma, and Medical ICU settings. Candidates must be comfortable with advanced life support equipment and complex patient conditions. Strong preference for candidates with cardiac/heart experience.

Schedule:
• 12-hour Night Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 13-Week Contract (04/27/2026 – 07/25/2026)
• 36 hours/week guaranteed
• No On-call

Unit Details:
• 42-bed ICU (Neuro/Med, CTICU, Surgical/Trauma)
• Common cases: Stroke, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI, Trauma
• Equipment: IABP, CRRT (Prisma/NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP Monitoring, Arctic Sun

Requirements

Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience (ICU/SICU/CTICU/Trauma/Neuro ICU)
• Active NY RN License (Required)
• AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Certifications required
• Experience with CRRT & Prismaflex required
• Cardiac/Heart experience highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Must provide NURSYS verification & valid ID
• RTO must be declared at submission
