ASM Global Payroll Change Management Communications Specialist

Part of the Project Management Office (PMO) team, this role will plan and execute communications and change management strategies for the ASM Global Payroll team. The role will partner with our implementation vendor and stakeholders across Payroll to evaluate the impact of consolidation, process and technology changes, design a strategy to prepare impacted stakeholders, and deliver tactics such as communications, training, and help resources.

Responsible for facilitating change and end user adoption of a new Workday Payroll system within ASM Global’s user community through communication and training. Ensuring that users are ready and willing to adopt upon deployment of the new system. This team also provides ongoing support for education & adoption of new technology throughout the organization.

Required Skills: 100% remote Start date of January 2023. **35-40 hours/week** - Candidate must be ok with 35 hours/week to start.

• Develop and maintain functional/user documentation, including standard operating procedures. (SOPs, change management documentation, and process design documents)

• Responsible for the creation of training materials, and user guides that drive end-user adoption.

• Hold requirements gathering sessions or workshops with business stakeholders to understand the current status of the business and break down current needs into smaller pieces of work that the project team can prioritize and implement.

• Spearheaded the Change Management Workday Implementation which includes: HCM, Benefits, Core Compensation, Advance Compensation (Merit Planning), Payroll, Time & Absence, Recruiting, Talent, Performance and Learning.

• Developed Change Management and Communication Plan, Training Plan, Training Matrix, the SharePoint Training Site as well as various custom training guides, presentations and videos.

• Developed Workday Training and conducted in-depth training and knowledge transfer sessions for Workstream Leads in HCM, Recruiting and Talent.

Change Management - Internal Communications & Employee Engagement, 1 opening Must have:

• • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• • Able to produce detailed, high-quality content for consumption by HR, Payroll, managers, and employees.
• • Attention to detail, particularly when it comes to proofing copy and content.
• • Translate business needs into communications materials.
• • Develop a multi-channel strategy, including written communications, executive messaging and video content if needed.
• • Self-starter and able to take the assignments and run with it independently.
• • Ideally the candidate would have Workday experience as well, so that they can better help with the creation of documents.
• • They will also be expected to help support the ABI time keeping system communications, which will be integrating with Workday.
• • ASM does not expect them to have ABI experience, as we have an SME.

What is the business / project need? - Workday implementation roll out - need someone to communicate payroll changes effectively to ASM global

This role is to communicate to the venues the changes – related to their Workday implementation Putting this information into layman's terms Mostly on payroll, changes coming to pay role. They run about 27 payrolls per month, they are now going down to 3 per month. With the guidance / ASM team – how can we communicate this effectively – these bullet points traditionally work. Should we send out 3 emails per month, should we send to certain groups, etc.

Project: Implementation phase of their Workday HCM platform, communication out to their NA org in January so this role will help drive that and put the pieces together in order to do that. Day to Day: Consolidation of their pay groups, payroll operations Staking out their updated process, putting into words that make sense to the end user community Email communications to their corporate users Training end users on the platform
