Marketing Coordinator (Grade Level 8)
Location: New York, NY
The Marketing Coordinator will support the marketing efforts for S&P Dow Jones Indices, playing a key role in the execution of global marketing strategies and initiatives. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall marketing goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of global marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote S&P Dow Jones Indices products and services.
- Coordinate and manage logistics for marketing events, webinars, and conferences.
- Collaborate with the content team to create marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Support the management of social media channels and online presence for S&P Dow Jones Indices.
- Work closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the financial services or indices sector.
- Knowledge across a wide range of marketing tactics including paid media, content, emarketing and web.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software/tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with S&P Dow Jones Indices products and services.
- Knowledge of analytics tools to measure marketing effectiveness (Marketo, Salesforce, Airtable, Adobe Analytics, Spredfast, Hootsuite, etc.).
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
