About the Role:
Perkins Griddle & Go in Flemington, NJ is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team! Responsibilities:

Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations
Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to maintain high performance and service standards
Ensure food quality, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met
Assist with scheduling, staffing, and employee onboarding and training
Handle guest concerns and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and minimize waste
Open and/or close the restaurant, including cash handling and end-of-day reporting

Requirements:

1+ years of experience in a restaurant supervisory or lead role preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment
Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Customer-focused mindset with a positive, hands-on attitude
