Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Neuro-Surgical Telemetry – Tennessee

Start Date: October 11, 2026

Location: Jackson, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, night shift (1845-0715). No on-call required. Float requirements may apply to other Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units or low-acuity ICU. Weekend requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.

Highlights:

• Neuro/Surgical Telemetry floor with a diverse patient case mix including CVA, post-neurosurgery, traumatic brain injury, and telemetry monitoring
• Patient ratios of 4-5 patients for optimal care delivery
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility; recent Epic experience is essential
• 36 hours of orientation provided to support your transition
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Local candidates and first-time travelers welcomed at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license or compact multistate license required at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required; travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience within the last 18 months required and must be documented on profile
• Must successfully pass Epic competency exam (one attempt allowed)
• Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience required
• Two supervisory references required at time of submission
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Previous charge experience preferred
