Electro-Mech OEM Assembler

Role Overview Ontic is seeking an Electro-Mech OEM Assembler to join our Creedmoor, NC production team. The role reports to the Production Cell Leader and involves working the 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 1:30PM to 12:00AM, 10‑hour shifts).Pursue an experienced, detail‑oriented assembler, dedicated to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Assemble and test mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic sub‑ or top assemblies of basic to intermediate complexity. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, workmanship, functionality, performance, regulatory, and customer requirements. Follow documented work instructions, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and other approved technical data in both hard‑copy and electronic formats. Use mechanical and electronic measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and scales. Perform cleaning, soldering, winding, safety‑wire, wire‑crimp, marking, etching, and varnishing processes. Comply with Chemical Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines, safety guidelines, and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience in the aerospace industry preferred. Basic math skills. Knowledge of mechanical hand tools and basic computer skills.
