Schedule: Approximately 12 hours/week, 3 days/week; 3–4 hours/day \n
Hours: Daytime only, before 4:00 PM EST \n
Setting: On-site, state-operated hospital \n

Job Summary \n
\nSeeking an Internal Medicine Physician to provide medical care to adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients (age 12+). The physician will perform evaluations, manage patient care, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and maintain accurate medical documentation.\n
\n
Responsibilities \n
\n•    Provide medical evaluations, treatment, and follow-up care.\n
\n•    Coordinate care with physicians, NPs, psychologists, social workers, and nursing staff.\n
\n•    Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow regulatory requirements.\n
\n•    Provide patient/family education as appropriate.\n
\n•    Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare staff.\n
\n
Requirements \n
\n•    MD or DO from an accredited medical school.\n
\n•    Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.\n
\n•    Active, unrestricted Indiana medical license.\n
\n•    Valid Indiana Controlled Substance Registration and DEA.\n
\n•    Current CPR certification.\n
\n•    Experience treating adults, geriatrics, and adolescents age 12+.\n
\n•    Cerner EMR experience preferred; other EMR experience accepted.\n
\n•    State hospital experience preferred.\n
