Location: Palatine, IL

Pay Rate: $23.20-$24.90 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

• Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM

• Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

• Thursday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

• Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

• Collect, process, and prepare clinical and forensic specimens for laboratory testing

• Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling accuracy

• Maintain required documentation and records in accordance with established procedures

• Deliver exceptional patient care while explaining collection procedures and addressing patient concerns

• Support multiple collection sites as needed and adapt to changing business priorities

• Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant work environment

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

• Strong phlebotomy skills and ability to perform quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Keyboard and data entry experience

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Previous Patient Service Center experience preferred

• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations with minimal notice

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing staffing needs

• Ability to meet compliance requirements
