Description: Charge RN experience requested. Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted. Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics. Certifications Required: BLS. General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses include all potential Med Surg diagnoses; Skills and Knowledge required include Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Nasal Cannula, High Flow Nasal Canula, Chest Tubes, Starting IVs, PICC Line Management, Blood Product Administration, Feeding Tube Care and Management. Ratio / Census: 1:6; 32 Rooms with average daily census of 29. Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR. Scrub Color: Navy Blue. RTO: MAX 7 days. RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th). Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere. Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed. Call Requirements: None. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day. Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Internal Return Rule: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler. Return Travelers: If cancel or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying + ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health.
