Travel Physical Therapist - Skilled Nursing Facility - $2,056 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for Brooksville, Florida. This travel assignment lasts 13 weeks, requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour work days, and 8-hour shifts. Key Details Location: Brooksville, FL Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per shift) Type: Travel assignment Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff. Bill within the setting following guidelines. Comply with PT board rules and state regulations. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition. Use medical center computer systems in daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements BLS certification required. State-specific PT license required. Minimum 6 months of experience; 1 year of experience preferred; new grads encouraged. Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
