Overview

Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day

Description

This position is responsible for operating scanning tools to stage and load product into trailers.

Essential Duties

Manually loads and unloads shipments of furniture and related products to/from truck trailers
Uses scanner tool to stage product in warehouse and on trucks
Uses hand trucks and forklifts to transport items through the shipping or receiving area
Required to read and understand ship documents
Must follow all safety policies and procedures
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Position Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience is preferred

Must be able to walk and stand continuously throughout shift; sitting, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling and twisting as needed
Must be able to frequently push, pull, grasp and use foot to operate controls
Must be able to work in noisy environments
Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance
