Position: RN – Critical Care (Contract-to-Perm)
Location: NY 14456
Contract Length: 05/11/2026 – 08/15/2026 (~14 weeks )
Pay: $2,159 – $2,421/week
Schedule: Full-time, 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Requirements: Every other weekend (EOW), holidays required, plus 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period
Float Requirement: Must float between Med/Surg, ICU, and ED at multiple locations (GGH & SSMH)
Provide critical care nursing across ICU, ED, and Med/Surg units
Assess, monitor, and manage patients across all age groups
Administer treatments, respond to emergencies, and support care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across multiple units/facilities
Maintain compliance with safety, documentation, and care standards
Active NY RN License (required)
BSN required
Certifications required ( AHA or RQI only ): BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care
Must be comfortable floating between ICU, ER, and Med/Surg units
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain professionalism
Basic Coronary Care (within 6 months) & CPI (within 90 days) required after hire
Preferred: TNCC/ENA certification, EMR and Microsoft Office experience
