Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time academic faculty member at the Associate Professor or Professor level to take on the role of Director for the Division of Urology within the Department of Surgery. In this leadership position, the selected candidate will work closely with the Department Chair to spearhead program development, strategic growth initiatives, faculty recruitment, and the mentoring of existing faculty members. The Division of Urology offers a wide range of urological services, including reconstructive urology, men's health, oncology, and endourology. The new Director will be tasked with establishing and guiding a multidisciplinary program focused on clinical excellence, fostering medical student and resident education, and playing a pivotal role in our integrated urology residency training program.

The ideal candidate must possess either an MD or DO degree and hold board certification in Urology. While active engagement in clinical or translational research is highly encouraged, it is not a mandatory requirement. The successful applicant will receive an appointment to the medical faculty at a prestigious medical school, with the final rank and salary reflecting their qualifications and experience.

Founded in 1837, our organization has been dedicated to serving the residents of Cleveland, Ohio, and Cuyahoga County. As a non-profit institution driven by its mission, we operate three hospitals, over 20 health centers, and 40 additional locations throughout the county. We serve as the primary public hospital teaching site for a well-respected medical school and are recognized nationally as an academic and tertiary referral medical center. Our facilities include an American College of Surgeons-verified Level I adult and Level II pediatric trauma center, along with advanced robotic and endoscopic surgery practices.

The preferred candidate will be a Board-certified Urologist with proven leadership skills, a history of clinical excellence in Urology, and a strong dedication to education and teaching. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential for this role.
