Sanitation Worker

Join our team as a Sanitation Worker, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe production area. Your duties will include sanitizing machines, mixing chemicals, breaking down machinery, and putting parts through a comprehensive sanitation process. You will also be responsible for accurately filling out documentation. We value team support and are looking for candidates who are willing to help where needed.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize production machines and equipment.
• Mix and handle chemicals safely.
• Break down machinery and put parts through the sanitation process.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize equipment according to SOPs and GMPs.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support team members and assist in various tasks as necessary.

Essential Skills

• Experience in cleaning, sanitation, and sanitizing processes.
• Experience in food production and food manufacturing.
• Ability to be on your feet for 8-10 hours.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with following SOPs and GMPs.
• Experience with breaking down machinery and handling chemicals.

• Proven record of reliability and dependability.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Residence in the SF Bay area or willingness to relocate at your own expense.
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
