Junior Project Manager – Role Description & Qualifications We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering projects that support organizational goals and business growth. The Junior Project Manager will support project execution by tracking progress, coordinating stakeholders, managing schedules, and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within scope. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing projects from initiation through completion. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, timelines, and task trackers. Coordinate project activities and ensure deliverables are completed according to deadlines. Organize meetings, prepare agendas, record meeting minutes, and follow up on action items. Communicate project updates, risks, and status reports to stakeholders. Monitor project budgets, resources, and timelines. Identify potential project risks and support mitigation planning. Maintain project documentation, records, and reporting materials. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, clients, and stakeholders. Track project performance metrics and prepare progress reports. Support process improvement initiatives and project management best practices. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and procedures. Required Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Previous internship, project coordination, administrative support, operations, customer service, or team leadership experience is preferred. Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms. Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Lean, or Hybrid project management methodologies is beneficial. CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications are considered an advantage.
