Logistics Sales Representative

Our Freight Sales Trainee program is designed to transform ambitious individuals with little or no logistics experience into high-performing transportation sales professionals. What You’ll Do Participate in a structured onboarding and sales training program Learn transportation and logistics industry fundamentals Understand supply chain operations and customer challenges Master freight terminology, pricing, and brokerage processes Prospecting & Business Development Build and maintain prospect lists Research companies and identify decision makers Make outbound cold calls to prospective customers Generate new sales opportunities and appointments Utilize CRM tools to track activity and maintain accurate records Conduct customer discovery conversations Learn customer shipping needs and transportation requirements Present LGI solutions and service offerings Assist with proposals and sales presentations Develop communication and negotiation skills Learn objection handling techniques Participate in role plays and coaching sessions Work closely with sales leaders and mentors Partner with operations and customer service teams Participate in sales meetings and pipeline reviews Support company growth initiatives and customer retention efforts Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED Positive attitude and willingness to learn Competitive and goal-oriented mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills Basic computer proficiency Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field Previous sales, customer service, athletics, leadership, or recruiting experience Experience in a high-performance environment No logistics experience is required.
