About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Business Development for the West Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the growth of same-store sales at existing clients and identifying new prospective clients within the assigned territory. This role requires a deep commitment to understanding customer and market needs, implementing strategic solutions, and collaborating with operations and marketing teams to enhance business development efforts. The VP will also be tasked with creating and leading the large account pursuit process, engaging with key customers, and holding themselves accountable for delivering on high expectations for organic growth and profitability improvement. Applicants for the VP Business Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' business development experience in the hospitality industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The role demands a proven track record in sales leadership, the ability to create and promote compelling value propositions, and a strong aptitude for selling complex services. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with a hands-on mindset, and the ability to work from the boardroom to the boiler room. They should also have experience in building and leading sales teams, be proficient in MS Office, and have a technical aptitude for utilizing CRM systems. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to represent the company effectively, and a willingness to travel extensively.
