Job Description:

PURPOSE OF JOB: Perform requested studies and manipulate data requiring the use of MRI as a diagnostic tool for patient care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Screen patients and any others entering magnetic field for ferrous and RF-sensitive materials.

2. Perform all MRI procedures as established in MRI protocol manual.

3. Maintains Department coordination

4. Equipment maintenance

Job Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduate of accredited school.

ARRT license and registered.

Must possess MRI Registry credentials or must obtain within 1 year from hire date.

CPR certification.

Experience: 3-5 years MRI experience preferred.

Philips MRI equipment experience helpful.
