An exciting opportunity is available for a night shift pharmacist at a 175-bed hospital utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems. This 13-week contract position requires commitment to a 7-on, 7-off night schedule with 10-hour shifts, providing a dynamic and supportive work environment for experienced pharmacy professionals.


Location: Gardnerville, NV (near Reno)


Schedule:

• Night shifts
• 7 days on, 7 days off
• 10-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing leadership and guidance
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies
• Perform pharmacokinetic assessments to optimize patient care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Valid Nevada pharmacist license
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience
• Ability and willingness to work night shifts
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system and Pyxis automated dispensing technology is highly preferred
