Job Description:

The Registered Nurse Med/Surg is responsible for providing quality care to patients in a Medical/Surgical unit. The nurse will be assigned to a home unit during orientation and will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and document medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition and report changes to the medical team.
• Provide wound care, including care for chest tubes, NG tubes, and IVs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months experience in a Med/Surg setting with EPIC or Cerner EMR experience.
• At least 1 year of trauma/surgical experience required.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
