HR Advisor (Chester)

HR Advisor Salary: Up to £30,000 per year Job type: Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a real difference in a values-driven care organisation? Embrace Care is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to support our growing teams across our CQC-regulated adult services and Ofsted-regulated children’s residential homes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about employee relations, people development and creating positive workplace cultures within a regulated care environment. About the Role You will provide expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees across the organisation. You will play a key role in managing employee relations matters, supporting compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding standards, and promoting best practice across all services. You’ll work closely with operational managers, recruitment, training and compliance teams to ensure consistent and effective people management practices. Key Responsibilities Advise managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues Support investigations, formal meetings and HR documentation Promote compliance with HR policies, employment law, CQC and Ofsted standards Maintain accurate HR records and support HR reporting and metrics Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives Support workforce development and positive employee engagement across services About You We’re looking for someone who has: Previous experience in a HR Advisor or HR Generalist role Strong employee relations experience Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Excellent communication and organisational skills The ability to build positive relationships and confidently support managers A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or currently working towards it) Experience within health and social care or another regulated sector would be highly desirable.
