Job Position: Packaging Machine Operator - Overnight Shift
Location: Sparta
Pay: $22.05 per hour plus a $1.25 shift differential, totaling $23.30 per hour
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 9:30 PM-5:30 AM, with overtime on Fridays

What You'll Do

• Tear down, set up, operate, and monitor automated packaging equipment, including case packers, multi-packers, and tray packers.
• Verify that the correct products and packaging specifications are used for each production run.
• Maintain established production and quality standards.
• Assist with production line changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make minor mechanical adjustments safely and efficiently.
• Communicate larger equipment concerns to the RTD Production Supervisor.
• Document equipment downtime accurately.
• Work with production team members to keep the line operating efficiently.
• Assist in other work areas as needed.
• Follow established safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, operating procedures, sanitation requirements, and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work area.

Work Environment

This position may involve exposure to airborne particulates and cleaning agents. The role may also require confined-space entry, working around radiation-controlled equipment, climbing to elevated areas, and standing for extended periods. Employees must follow all applicable safety, sanitation, operating, and quality procedures.
