About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at The Goddard School of Simpsonville as a 2 Year Old Teacher, where you will inspire and nurture young minds in a warm and engaging environment. We are passionate about providing a safe and stimulating space for children to learn and grow, and we are looking for a creative educator to help make a difference!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster creativity and exploration.
• Create a nurturing and safe classroom environment that encourages social and emotional development.
• Engage children in activities that promote cognitive and physical growth.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience.
• Observe and assess children's development and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum education high school diploma, some college education preferred
• Prior experience working with toddlers in a classroom setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Must be patient, nurturing, and passionate about teaching young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Background check required to ensure child safety.
